Virgolette is a work on the sign, an attempt to di-sign space, time and relationship based on a system of rules. On the basis of specific trajectories in space and possible modes of interaction, a system is established that matures and develops in action.
The choreographic score originates by considering distances, durations, interactions and encounters, which are stratified according to the logic of repetition and interruption, accumulation and progression. Virgolette is a system of cause-and-effect, back-and-forth, where the climax is constituted by a discontinuous continuity of micro-climaxes, waits, false starts and fake endings.
