IDILLIO. A choreographic solo in which the body attempts to explore new vocabularies and detach itself from its cultural heritage. Movement is dictated by an exchange of information between the parts of the body, constant impulses and adaptations. The body undergoes the opposition between rationality and causality and the project wants to reflect on how we vent the feelings of lightheartedness/urgency of acting in response to the constant insecurity of the choices we make every day. The choreography brings into focus the theme of pleasure as opposed to the manic control of actions on the scene, experienced through physical experiences that generate in the performer strong contrasts of movement. A body moved by the events around it: here is a new imperturbability in the chaos, a new idea of contemplation, an idyll.

Lavanderia a Vapore Corso Pastrengo, 51 Collegno (TO)LORENZO MORANDINI. Class of 1993, he started his training at the Teatro Nuovo in Turin. In 2016 he graduated from Trinity Laban in London with the choreographic research “The Enlightenment”. From 2018 to 2021 he is among the authors of the project Incubatore CIMD in Milan, during which he develops the choreographic project IDILLIO, selected for the Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore XL within the festival AmmutinamenQ 2021. At the same time he starts a personal journey of movement research inspired by training experiences carried out in nature. In 2020 he is selected for the training project Nuove Traiettorie XL.
With AZIONIfuoriPOSTO he organizes from 2020 the festival “Danzare A Monte” in Val di Fiemme. For the collective he is interpreter in the project PERSPECTIVA: VEDERE ATTRAVERSO, presented at Oriente Occidente Dance Festival 2020 and CROSS Festival 2021. For the company Ariateatro he dances as interpreter for the show OGNI ISTANTE DEI NOSTRI INCONTRI. In 2021, he dances as performer for the show CHORÒS: il luogo dove si danza by Alessio Maria Romano within the Oriente Occidente Festival.
