MARION ALZIEU. She has worked as a performer with Jasmin Vardimon, Hervé Chaussard, Salia Sanou, Chiara Taviani, Serge-Aimé Coulibaly, and Amala Dianor. In 2014, she created her first piece, the solo Ceci n’est pas une femme blanche, and in the same year, she founded the company Ma’. Her solo has been presented in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, receiving several awards in European competitions. She later created several theatrical works and site-specific performances, including W, UNE, Alttaï, If it’s a girl, and Hold Fast. Her research focuses on gesture itself, always in direct dialogue with a new form for her (singing, photography, location, music, dance style…). Hybridization is at the heart of her approach. In addition to her creations, it is important for her to conduct workshops with various audiences and lead scenic training paths.

COMPAGNIE MA’. Founded by Marion Alzieu, the company Ma’ is based in Chambéry (France). There, it develops and explores the gesture of dance in constant dialogue with other art forms, cultures, styles, and environments. Hybridization is at the core of its research. Tying to current events and the richness of her experience, Marion loves challenging herself in new fields to question adaptation, the impermanence of her dance, and to meet new audiences through her creations for theater and site-specific performances.
