Two bodies explore the meaning of memory in an intimate, vulnerable space, moving through lived experiences and places while trying not to be trapped in the past. The memento principle guides them, revealing the deep connection between memory and the present through life’s fleeting nature. A nonlinear narrative invites the audience to confront the fragility and impermanence of remembrance. The bodies become a symptom of an internal struggle between what remains and what fades. Against a natural backdrop, they hover in time, crying out with primal fear, repeating every movement only to realize that nothing lasts—just ephemeral traces of passage. Built around continuous experimentation in partnering work, this piece choreographically explores the connection between two dancers—both in deep mutual listening and in constant physical contact. A project where athleticism and physicality merge with raw emotion, defining the duo’s signature approach.

MARCO PERGALLINI E MARIA STELLA PITARRESI. Marco Pergallini and Maria Stella Pitarresi form an emerging artistic duo that, since 2020, has been exploring the foundations of a “sensitive revolution” through dance. As associate artists of Twain Centro Produzione Danza, they bring their choreographic language—marked by vulnerability, intimacy, and the complexity of the human body—to renowned festivals such as Kilowatt Festival, La Piazza Delle Arti, Direzioni Altre Festival, Ammutinamenti, and many more.
