Following the success of its past editions‚ Interplay Festival always returned with numerous‚ varied appointments with contemporary dance and for the first time hosted the Metropolitan Blitzes of the Contrappunti Festival. The performances took place in urban spaces such as streets‚ squares and store display windows‚ surprising an informal audience that got involved in the events by chance.
Several appointments with the emergent Italian and international dance took place in Teatro Juvarra. Along the explicit lines of the poetics of these years‚ the festival dedicated particular attention to some of the young emergent Turinese companies‚ presented alongside some internationally renown companies.
