Anticorpi is a festival of events‚ festivals and artist residencies – CANTIERI (Emilia Romagna)‚ AMAT (Marche)‚ ZONEATTIVE (Lazio)‚ TEATRO PUBBLICO PUGLIESE (Public Theatre of Puglia)‚ MOSAICO DANZA / INTERPLAY (Piedmont)‚ OPERAESTATE FESTIVAL and ARTEVEN (Veneto)‚ ARTEDANZA E20 (Lombardia)‚ TEATRO STABILE DELL’UMBRIA (Umbria)‚ PROGETTO PUNTA CORSARA (Campania) − which recognizes the importance of original choreography in the panorama of live performance and springs from the desire to create a promotional project for young artists on a national level and‚ in perspective‚ on an international level‚ and has activated the Anticorpi XL network that bases its work on the following objectives:
> To analyze the creations by young groups operating in their various regions;
> to aid their mobility‚ thanks to the sharing of experience and the exchange of information between the network’s partners;
> to always update the occasions and events‚ and the modalties of spreading and observing young choreographers’ work.
The implementation of said points is achieved through cooperation regulated by a Protocol of understanding and divided into shares. The main activity – to which all the members adhere − is that of Young Dance Showcases (which in 2008‚ involved the participation of Teatro Stabile of Umbria‚ Punta Corsara Project of the Campania region and ArtedanzaE20 of Lombardy)‚ consisting of offering visibility for emergent companies‚ selected by means of an annual competition. Its other activities include monitoring current productive and organizational matters concerning contemporary and experimental dance; hosting the International Dance Raids‚ performances of international original choreography in urban landscapes: Dance Videos − Moving Virtual Bodies‚ the projections of dance films made by contemporary international authors and the Gda XL Competition‚ a formative project divided into phases linked to dance research.

Three companies were selected from the Piedmont region: Fabiana Ricca‚ Ambra Senatore and the group MC/F‚ directed by Maria Cristina Fontanelle. To our extreme satisfaction‚ two of these three choreographers were selected by the post–festival commission and were inserted into the regional circuits directed by the ANTICORPI XL project: Ambra Senatore and the contemporary experimental dance group MC/F.
