To be born from a bud‚ everything is vital‚ but during its various phases of intense activity and rest‚ it develops a shape‚ it’s physical manifestation...
Dance structures itself - the material takes shape thanks to the constrictions that arise from its subject. The ideas deal with limits‚ limits become thresholds to new spaces. ...don’t lose the momentum‚ the initial promise to take care of the flower.

Annick Pütz ever since concluding her contemporary dance studies at the Rotterdamse Dansakademie‚ she has worked as an independent dancer/choreographer. From 2001to 2003 she was a member of the research group supervised by the choreographer Susan Buirge at the Center for Choreographic Research and Composition in Royaumont, France. Since 2006‚ she has attended a course of Body-Mind Centering‚ the principles of which are based on the knowledge of body tissue‚ and which greatly influences her artistic work. She is a member of the art collective MASKèNADA.
The topics of growing and progression are central to her works for theatres or outdoor spaces for both young and adult audiences. Her principal choreographic works include: AIKia (2000); Folia‚ solo (2001); Drumming (2004)‚ music by Steve Reich‚ in collaboration with G. Celestino and United Instruments of Lucilin; Wachstum und Verzweigung (2005)‚ about Paul Klee’s work‚ selected in 2006 by the FLTP for the Avignone off Festival; Tock Tock (2005) a children’s show‚ Duerchzuch um Giele Botter (2007)‚ an artistic promenade bringing about twenty artists together. Furthermore she played the role of Loopino in concerts of that same name at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg.
