Sudeste is the heart, perhaps the head, or the organs.
Bodies that meet and intertwine with each other. The old is engulfed by the production of the new, and without any nostalgia, the points from the past look towards the future. A show which features feverish bodies charged with power and violence.
Grupo Tàpias
The historical Brazilian group developed its expertise in America, Brazil and Europe, and is considered to be a benchmark for contemporary dance, not only nationally but worldwide.
In particular, the choreographer Flavia Tàpias has been the interpreter of most of the repertoire of Grupo Tàpias since 1996.
She trained in dance, but also theater, thus becoming an interpreter as well as a dancer.
She has received national and international recognition for her solo performances in major dance events in Brazil, as well as in Europe.
