Celebrate Italy that has awakened. Sing, Italy has awoken.
Dancers, united in celebration,
Italy has awakened, it raises doubts
In dance we have fallen, you couldn't stand up, no
they've seen many of us fall
We are down, the desire to do, to do... nothing more
They've cut us, we remain, first standing, then sitting,
getting up in the middle, united,
opposing those who want to separate us.
Federica Tardito and Aldo Rendina both come from experiences of theater and contemporary dance.
In the past they have mainly worked with the choreographers Appaix Georges, Anna Sagna (Sutki), Claude Coldy, Roberto Castello, Giorgio Rossi and Raffaella Giordano (Sosta Palmizi Association), with whom they still collaborate. The Company Tardito/Rendina arose from shared feelings and common interests, for the taste and the pleasure of following the ways of comedy in its various forms. Among their most significant works are Gonzaga's Rose, with the support of Sosta Palmizi Association, and Circhio Lume, a Torinodanza and Drodesera co-production.
They are currently working on the show “Oh Heaven” (The possible paradise), supported by Tracce di Teatro d’Autore (Traces of Original Theatre), the Sosta Palmizi Association, Volterrateatro, Piedmont Region and Kado Association.
The Company has performed at many events and festivals including: Volterra Teatro, Drodesera, Torinodanza, Avignone Off, Musicalarue, Teatri 90, Fabbrica Europa, Armunia, Addadanza, Tracce, Kismet, Koreja.
Parallel to participating in the performance scene, the company conducts an educational activities with the aim of enhancing and conveying the pleasure of looking (and being) ridiculous, dramatic and surprising.
