The tragic elements of the life of Elvis Presley force the dancer to take a new look at the male universe, exploring the relationship between Manhood and physical expression, the hip hop and rock and roll movements. This brings new challenges to the conventional view on the world of men, reinforced by pop culture.
Lyat Waysbort
Liat Waysbort, who is supported by the Dansatelier of Rotterdam, began her career as a dancer with the Israeli Batsheva Dance Company.
A graduate of the Academy in Rotterdam, since 2005 she has undertaken her own creative path with the support of Dansateliers.
Since 2009,
she has choreographed for companies such as Conny Janssen Danst and Amsterdam Dansgroep and participated in international festivals including Springdance and B Motion.
Alongside her work of choreographer, she teaches at the Amsterdam School for the Arts and holds seminars all over Europe.
